If you are searching for the answers to all of your life problems, big and small, start slow–really, really slow. According to the new book, Slow Jogging by Hiroaki Tanaka, PhD and Magdalena Jackowska, jogging at a very slow pace in which you can maintain a smile, conversation or sing your favorite song is not only the answers to all of life’s problems, but it’s also one of your life’s purposes (physiologically speaking).
I had the pleasure of reading this book in it’s entirety a couple of times and it left me at a loss for words. As I kept turning the pages and unveiling this concept of “niko-niko” pace with science to back up it’s claims I was left with one of those “ah-ha!” moments. I was reminded that many times, the best things in life are actually indeed free.
