So I heard Thanksgiving was this past Thursday, then there were super (not really) sales going on for Black Friday, but did you start your own business the following day?  Have you heard of Small Business Saturday?  This is a great holiday that is all about supporting the mom and pop shops, pioneers, stay at home mom entrepreneurs, anyone who is taking control of their lives and finding creative ways to monetize it.  This is one holiday that should be taught in public schools today.  The children spend so much time coloring turkeys and learning how to gobble them up with a side of cranberry sauce–but what about teaching them how to start their own business?  Motivating young minds early on and showing them that financial freedom is not an impossible feat, nor making your own hours.

So today I’ll share with you all a link to a business that you can start for free–minus the $hipping costs for your new consultant package.  That’s right you can be a sole proprietor for essentially no start up cost.  It’s Simply Aroma, an essential oils business.  I think they’ve lost their minds a touch by offering this, but hey whatever works right?  All they require is to watch/listen to a short video about they company.  You’re doing that already–watching short videos online, so why not make one of those little videos invest in your future and financial freedom.

Essential oils are great holistic healing tools.  Dabbing a drop or two on the bottoms of your feet, adding several drops to shea butter (like in my Ash Kickin Cream), hair oils, shampoos to deter fungus and lice…some people even drink em!

So support a small business today and stop making those big franchises even bigger, at least for today.  Put some money in your neighbors pocket.  Better yet, start a small business of your own and let your neighbors put money in YOUR pocket.  some ideas on what business to start:

  • What are your talents?
  • What are your skills?
  • what are your passions?
  • what things would you continue doing if it never made you a dime?
  • do you cook something well?
  • do you have an elaborate imagination and can turn it into ebooks?
  • do you love to record rants?
  • are you a gamer who can screen share?
  • Do you enjoy tutorials?
  • Sharing your opinions on products?
  • Do you like having a lot of children around you?

The list goes on and on.  Get out there and get your piece of that big fat entrepreneurial pie, or help your neighbor cut a slice.  Contrary to popular belief, there is enough to go around.

    • Wow thank you so much! I didn’t know of that either. I have yet to try it myself, but if you do let me know if you notice a change! I’ll stick to my feet for now–they soak up everything!

  2. I agree that investing in yourself and becoming financially independent should be taught in schools, not that bs “how to work your ass off until you’re ninety-five” crap!
