K.O Juice Recipe: Green Immunity Juice

Simple recipe with very profound benefits.  Here we have in one corner, the almighty, undefeated curly-leafy green, alkalizing Kale with it’s citrus sidekicks lime and orange!  The combination of these three goodies will pump your body full of Vitamin C to boost your immunity, aid your body in fighting wrinkles with silicon, and help your body to better absorb all the divine nutrients in this K.O cocktail (like iron!).  Kale is bringing minerals such as copper and zinc to the table, and blood purifying Vitamin K, pow!


Now let’s get to juicing:_EAC3911

3 or more leaves of kale (stems included)

5-6 Oranges, peeled

1 lime (or lemon if preferred), peeled

If you try this K.O Immunity boosting juice at home, your pallete may call for more kale, less orange, or another ratio desired by your tastebuds.  I will usually add more kale if it’s only for me, but for my boys, I will go a little easy on the kale for the sake of taste.

So maybe instead of plain old orange juice, you’ll want to green it up a bit and drink more iron, copper, vitamin K and A along with it 🙂   Vitamin C is famous for stomping on the common cold and mucous, so why not indulge in this vitamin in it’s live, plant based state instead of in it’s synthetic form?  The supplements you purchase are great, but let’s remember that it’s still not fresh, and depending on the vendor, may not even be natural, but a chemical, and will not assimilate in your body the way nature intended it to.
