Recycling my Funky Green Juice!

I don’t get to finish all of my divine juice concoctions sometimes.  Usually only a small swig will remain (1/8 of a cup) as I forget that it’s in the fridge waiting to be consumed.  I hate when this happens, because I don’t like to be wasteful.  I put a lot of effort into making my juice and I know how beneficial these potions are, so to toss it down the drain just hurts my heart.

I had a struggling plant that was suffering from stunted growth, well actually no growth at all.  This past winter must have really bruised it’s spirit, because as you can see in the video, hardly nothing was left.  I almost gave up on this poor plant.  That is, until I thought to feed it my six day old, funky, green juice.  I had a swig left from my jar of kale/cucumber/citrus and decided to share it with my little plant.  I diluted it with some warm water and just bathed that little joker in it.  I then left it alone (kind of forgot about it) for two weeks.  When I came back to check up on this plant, I couldn’t believe it!  I can not wait to see what the spring weather along with more funky, old, green juice will do for this beauty.

This little science experiment gave me a revelation.  Oh the miracles that juicing must be doing for my body!  I mean, this plant received old diluted juice and it had a complete turn around.  I now envision the beauty treatment my cells undergo, every time I put a fresh glass to my lip.  There is so much sickness and disease in the world today that it is overwhelming at times. The responsibility I have over my own body, to preserve it’s health can feel overwhelming.  I don’t want to be a sick plant!  After witnessing how easy it was to revive this plant, I realized it’s really as easy as putting the right nourishment in your body to give yourself the best care, preventative care.

Start juicing today and turn your life around like this plant did.  Don’t you deserve to be your best, healthiest self?
