My Magic Morning Tea

I love tea, and coffee.  I have met a lot of people over the years who are usually one over the other, but I have to say that I am pretty neutral on my stance.  However, I do appreciate tea much more and have a higher respect for it.  Tea has so many varieties and the types of herbs seem to be infinite to me.  This post is about my love for one herbal tea in particular, Red Raspberry Leaf. Before I became a mother, I suffered from violently painful menstrual cycles.  We are talking, hunched over and vomiting (I know, so dramatic right?), I dreaded my monthly visitor.  My visit wasn’t exactly monthly either, it came when it felt like it.  After I had my first child, I became much more conscious of my femininity and my female health.  I did a lot of reading and research and came across Red Raspberry Leaf Tea and all it’s magic and splendor.  I started drinking it everyday, three times a day to start and wow did my life change. I now drink at least one cup a day of 1 tsp to one cup of boiling water in the morning. I am not a doctor, nutritionist or herbalist, but I like to think that I have learned a thing or two thus far in life.  This tea eased my cycles, calmed my cramps.  It now comes like a whisper, a gentle reminder that I am not pregnant.  Oh, this reminder also started coming on time as well (I also started taking evening primrose oil which I believe helps with the timeliness but that’s another post).  I was so overjoyed by this improvement in my quality of life.  It was literally life changing for me.  I’m sure a lot of you female readers can relate to having to reschedule dates or social events thanks to an unpleasant cycle.  When these visits are bad, they ruin your life for that moment.  This tea really did change that for me. It did something else for me.  I continued to drink it (sparingly) during my second pregnancy and I would like to credit it to my speedy delivery.  I mean, it was like a canon ball shooting, lol!  I know, I know “TMI,” sorry folks, but that’s how I think of it.  My labor was intense and fast, it was awesome. I went a couple of months without it due to a move this past year and boy did I notice a difference!  I had the worst cycle that I had had in years.  It drained all of my energy, beat me down with cramps and had my head in a toilet bowl.  I then really realized how much this tea has truly worked for me.  There are some people today who like to doubt herbal remedies and turn their noses up at anything that doesn’t come with a prescription from an M.D; but, you cannot argue with one’s experience.  I did my own study and the results show that this tea works, lol. This tea has potassium, calcium, phosphorus, Vitamins A, C, D and whole bunch of other benefits.  Do some research in your spare time and find out what the rest are.  Hopefully this information will lead you to trying it, or making it a part of your daily routine
