Pressing Pause

ma in pr
Some moments you want to replay over and over and over and over and over, and over again!

Sometimes in life, well often times, it seems like your life plays out like a movie.  Usually, the ending is not as predictable, and for many, very seldom happy with fireworks, or finding your true love or defeating the evil villain (something super positive and optimistic like that).  When you are living life and going through the motions, we sometimes forget to call people or lose touch with people who once held a very important role in our hearts.  As we go through our motions of work, raising children, and the logistics of life and relationships, we don’t even notice that this has happened, because our lives are still in play mode.  Until something forces you to press pause.

Victory! is taking control of your life. This ship is yours to steer and no one else’s, so take it wherever the hell you want

A death, or life threatening situation will ALWAYS make you press pause, at least for me it does.  Unfortunately, I have had death come and press pause in my life more times than I would like to count.  You have to pause at these moments just like you do for a movie, to assess what the hell is going on!  You press pause to recap who did what because you don’t want to lose track or lose the message of whatever you are watching.  A death has the same effort on me and my life.  I press pause and stop to think about that person, who they are to me in my life, who I am to them, and where is my life going.  That last thought always lingers because you think about when it’s your turn to do what everyone must do in life…die.

Recap on the moments that were so joyful, you couldn’t even smile right in a pic!

I am a blessed person, however, to be able to take these pauses, recap and remember the person who has ascended to a higher level, I come to one conclusion.  Death is not the end.  I don’t know what is, or if there is even an actual end.  Mathematically speaking, there is no end, but infinity.  Metaphysically speaking in terms of energy, it’s always passing and transforming but never ending.  Forgive my laymen terms on those two subject matters, but basically what I am saying is that we need to make our lives and our loved one in it matter now, because when these pauses come along chances are it is too late.  If when death comes your way and you can only think about the who what when and where, then honey you need to start focusing on being a better version of yourself.  A version that focuses on the good, and gives time to the people that matter to you and make decisions based on what you believe is right, and not what a book or someone else says is right. ma fino cookie in pr Enjoy your life according to what makes you happy and please enjoy the people you love that are co-starring in this movie with you.  Do it before you have to press pause…or before it ends.
